Daily Living

Hello,
I have just received the November bulletin and I have two suggestions for the pyjama dilemma. My daughter (almost 13) has AS.

For winter, I have one-piece fleece pyjamas with feet. There is a Canadian company called Snug as a Bug, located in Toronto. They have cute and Angel-resistant stuff and the material used is exclusive to them. She has problems keeping her extremities warm and these pyjamas are perfect for her. She totally adores them.

For the other seasons, I have taken a 3-piece pyjama (pants, spaghetti string camisole and long sleeve top) and sewed the bottom of the camisole inside the pants. I made sure that the pants had a cord that goes all around the waist. The cord from the pants limits the access to the diaper, and the top over the camisole prevented her from lowering the straps and keeps her warmer in Spring and Fall.

I hope that these suggestions will help a few parents.
